CDSMEG - Center for Development of
Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Georgia, is a non-governmental, non-profit,
public organization, which aims to promote the development of small and
medium-sized business in Georgia. |

| The organization was established in
December 1998 and acted under the title: "Georgian Fund for Small and Medium-sized
Enterprises". After the adoption of the Civil Cide by the Parliament of
Georgia the organization continued its activity as "The Center for Development
of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Georgia". |

| In order to support small business
CDSMEG organizes seminars, trainings, conferences and other activities,
publishes monthly press release and conducts free legislative consultations
for the representatives of small business, elaborates proposals and recommendations
with the aim to improve existed legislation in favor of small and medium-sized
enterprises. |

|
Main priorities of CDSMEG are:
- Abolition of legislative, financial and administrative
obstacles on the way of development of small and medium-sized business.
- Facilitate to Georgian small business to reach
international market , to assist them to find partners in neighboring
countries as well as in high industrialized western democracies by providing
them appropriate consultative and information support.
- To promote the process of improvement of investment
environment in Georgia and attraction of capital from abroad (by the
representatives of small and medium-sized business. To increase the
interest of foreigners toward Georgian market.
- To promote competitive environment and to
improve access on modern achievements, research, innovations and trainings
for the representatives of Georgian small business.
- To facilitate cooperation between small and
medium-sized enterprises within country.
- Promotion the process of creation joint Georgian-foreign
ventures.
- To assist starting business to simplify registration
procedures, access on credits and provide them with corresponding consultative
and information support.
